As a Suzuki Method and Orff trained teacher, Ms. Adrianna believes every child can learn when fostering self-motivation through curiosity, time for discovery, and developing ability in pursuit of children's own interests. Students learn music as a language through listening immersion and disciplined daily practice with parent involvement - a family experience! Ms. Adrianna has taught many adults who have always had a passion for the beautifully unique cello.
Ms. Adrianna is currently helping to build the first Suzuki Method Cello Program at Sycamore Springs Academy. She most recently pioneered the Suzuki Cello Program at KinderU Suzuki Music Academy (www.suzukihk.org) - the only Suzuki program recognized by the International and American Suzuki associations in greater China.
She has performed with the Hong Kong City Chamber Orchestra, New England Symphony, and was principal of the University of Southern California Community Orchestra. Ms. Adrianna holds a GPD from Longy School of Music, an MA in Journalism from USC, and a BA in English from UC Berkeley. She enjoys improvising and arranging indie folk rock for strings and voice.
