Leah began playing the violin at age 3, and the piano at age 8. She studied violin performance at Cleveland State University under the direction of Molly Fung-Dum and Wei Shu Co. In addition to growing her private violin & piano studio, she teaches strings for multiple schools in the Mountain View - Whisman School District.
Leah plays the violin with the Redwood Symphony and various other Bay Area groups. Prior to moving to California, she performed with the Southwest Michigan Symphony Orchestra. She also taught private lessons for the Salvation Army of Benton Harbor, and led sectionals for the Lake Michigan Youth Orchestra.
Playing an instrument is a great chance to express yourself and give the gift of music appreciation to others. Leah believes that anyone can learn to play an instrument - all it takes is personal drive, a love for music, and practice.
