Lisa Sueyres received her Bachelor of Arts in Music with an emphasis in Vocal Performance from the University of California at Davis, graduating with both a Department Citation for Outstanding Undergraduate Accomplishment in Music and a Faculty Award for Outstanding Accomplishment in Musical Performance. She has worked with conductors such as José Luis Moscovich, John Kendall Bailey, and Jeffrey Thomas. She has appeared in several local ensembles, including the Stanford Savoyards and West Bay Opera. When she isn’t onstage, Lisa enjoys teaching elementary music theory, chorus, and singing. She is passionate about deepening her students’ understanding of music and the voice and is often pleasantly surprised that she can learn as much from them as they can learn from her.
