Jimmée Greco is a clarinet and bass clarinet teacher who believes effective teaching begins with understanding each student as an individual—musically, technically, and personally. She designs lessons that build strong fundamentals, a resonant and expressive sound, and confident musicianship, while providing clear weekly goals and guidance on how to practice so students can make steady, measurable progress.
Her teaching emphasizes healthy technique, efficient and thoughtful practice habits, and musical expression. Students are supported in preparing for school band and ensemble participation, advancing repertoire, and developing the focus, self-reflection, and discipline that underpin both musical and academic success. Lessons take place in a positive, structured studio environment where students are appropriately challenged and encouraged to grow.
An active professional performer, Jimmée graduated with honors from UCLA in Clarinet Performance. She has performed with major regional ensembles and studied with leading orchestral clarinetists, bringing high-level musical training into a supportive, student-centered teaching approach. Jimmée is committed to helping each student grow as a musician and to experience both achievement and joy through music.
